New Hampshire Association of School Business Officials Certification Program
NHASBO has developed a program of professional certification and continuing education to provide standards of professional competence in the area of school business administration and school facility operations.
SCHOOL BUSINESS OFFICIALS
A New Hampshire School Business Official must show knowledge, skills, and competencies in the following areas, as per NH Code of Administrative Rule Ed 506.03:
- Educational organization.
- Financial resource management.
- Human resource management.
- Facility and property management.
- Information management.
- Risk management.
- Pupil transportation.
- Food service.
All of our professional development opportunities are geared toward helping school business officials meeting their certification requirements.
FACILITY OPERATIONS CERTIFICATIONS
There are two certifications for school facility operations professionals:
The first level certification is the Certified School Facility Specialist (CSFS). This certification is ideal for facility maintenance staff, lead custodians, and those wishing to advance their career.
The second level certification will be the Certified School Facility Manager (CSFM). This certification is ideal for facility directors and managers, and those wishing to advance into management positions.
