NHASBO 2017-2018 Professional Development and Meeting Schedule

We are pleased to present the following professional development opportunities for the coming year:

Date: September 8, 2017
Event: Full Day Monthly Meeting
Location: Primex

This will be a business meeting with professional development topics on Federal Funds Procurement, Kindergarten Budgeting/Funding Changes, and ADA – Website Access.

Date: September 22 – 25, 2017
Event: ASBO International Conference
Location: Denver, CO

Date: October 13, 2017
Event: Full Day Monthly Meeting
Location: Primex

This will be a business meeting with professional development topics on Warrant Articles, Budget Processing and Reporting.  Followed by a round table discussion on SB2 and annual meeting processes.

Date: October 30 – 31, 2017
Event: NHSAA Best Practices in School Operations, Finance and Business Leadership
Location: Grappone Center, Concord

Join us at the annual Best Practices in School Operations, Finance and Business Leadership workshop cosponsored by NHASBO and NH Association of School Administrators. Topics include best practices in finance, human resources, and other relevant issues.

Date: December 15, 2017
Event: Half Day Holiday Meeting
Location: Manchester Country Club, Bedford, NH

Join us at the holiday meeting for a meal and a Yankee Swap.  A guest speaker will provide professional development at this meeting.

Date: January 12, 2018
Event: Full Day Monthly Meeting
Location: HealthTrust

This will be a business meeting with professional development topics on Transportation, Bidding and Procurement Practices.  Followed by a round table discussion on member requested topics.

February 28 – March 1, 2018
Event: Northern New England Facility Masters Conference
Location: Oyster River High School, Durham, NH Career Development and Professional Training for School Operations Professionals in New Hampshire, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.  Learn innovative approaches, proven techniques and cost-saving best practices for achieving excellence in facility and maintenance operations at this career advancement and networking event for Northern New England school facility, maintenance and business professionals.

Date: March 9, 2018
Event: Full Day Monthly Meeting
Location: Primex

This will be a business meeting with professional development topics on Food Service, USDA Audit and Food Service Policies.  Followed by a round table discussion on member requested topics.

Date: April 13, 2018
Event: Full Day Monthly Meeting
Location: Primex

This will be a business meeting with the budget for 2018-19 and election of officers along with professional development topics on IDEA Maintenance of Effort, Grant Reporting and Emergency Plans.  Followed by a round table discussion on member requested topics.
